I'm Patrick Dasoberi, and I've spent the past several years at the intersection where cybersecurity expertise, AI deployment, and regulatory compliance collide in the real world.

My background combines formal credentials—CISA, CDPSE, MSc in Information Technology, and postgraduate AI/ML training—with something harder to find: hands-on experience building and securing AI-powered healthcare platforms that process sensitive patient data across multiple African countries.

As former CTO of CarePoint (formerly African Health Holding), I operated healthcare AI systems across Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, and Egypt. Before that, I founded and ran several AI-powered health platforms including DiabetesCare. Today, MyClinicsOnline operate across Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa.

This wasn't academic work. These were production systems handling protected health information, navigating GDPR alongside national data protection laws, implementing privacy-by-design in resource-constrained environments, and managing third-party AI risks in regulated healthcare settings.

I've also contributed to policy development—serving as a Subject Matter Expert for Ghana's Ethical AI Framework with the Ministry of Communications and UN Global Pulse.
